If you already checked on techhosting for forum hosting compatibility, you might not be able to locate the forum hosting or forum scripts supported under the “Plugins/Scripts Feature” in the techhosting feature/specification page. The question is, will forum script like vbulletin, smf, or phpbb will be able to run in tech web hosting?
Since i already have a tech hosting account, i just login to techhosting cpanel and check on the feature. Basically, you will require php and mysql database to run forum script. And .htaccess and php.ini is other option to have.
From techhosting cpanel x, go to fantastico de luxe, and you will see the available script for installation. yes, i can see these forum script is supported and available for quick installation:
- phpbb
- smf
For vbulletin forum script, you will require to purchase license and upload the script to server through ftp account. Once its uploaded, you can install through web browser.
